Dr. Beatriz Lopez founded Perspective Education Services, Inc in Puerto Rico, (PESPR) to research transformative ideas for teacher/student/community engagement while providing a resource for implementing proven methodologies that integrate Professional Learning Communities with Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STREAM) education. PESPR specializes in the competitive advancement of socioeconomically challenged institutions fostering community engagement and belonging in championing lifelong learning.

FOUNDER
Dr. Lopez received her doctoral degree in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction, following receipt of her Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching of Science. Dr. Lopez’s research focused on investigating implementation issues and corresponding benefits of Professional Learning Communities in public education, including a field study in Dallas, Texas. Having first earned her Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez, where she also achieved teacher certification, Dr. Lopez went on to teach core and advanced placement science classes at the middle school and high school levels both in Puerto Rico and more recently in Texas. Dr. Lopez is a recognized high-impact innovator and educator whose accomplishments include novel teaching programs for human body systems using plants, representing teacher philosophy and online academic support for Texas Education Services, and contributing to the recognition of her middle school in the national level Schools to Watch Program.

- Support the community in all levels, as an ecosystem manager, by identifying and evaluating community programs or foundation its characteristics, goals, resources and needs to design a Professional Learning Community integrating leaders with community and stakeholders to reach strategies to reach goals
Perspective Education Services, Inc:
- Support the community in all levels, as an ecosystem manager, by identifying and evaluating community programs or foundation its characteristics, goals, resources and needs to design a Professional Learning Community integrating leaders with community and stakeholders to reach strategies to reach goals and developing the sense of belonging.
- Evaluates school, colleges and community programs, the student's performance, support administration, teachers and staff to establish Professional Learning Communities according to the goals, identify resources, and develop the strategic plan to accomplish it creating safe spaces.
- Create safe spaces for community, educational and/or sports programs where participants can develop skills, talents and experiences in STREAM, Perspective science and entrepreneurship.
- Design workshops for educators, parents, leaders and/or any community member on STREAM topics, Perspective Science, developing Professional Learning Communities and entrepreneurship.
